Awareness prog on 'Chetona' scheme for welfare of elderly/senior citizens held

An awareness programme under 'Chetona' scheme for welfare of elderly/senior citizens was held today Bodofa Cultural Complex Auditorium in Kokrajhar today.

Organised by Social Welfare Department Assam in association with Social Welfare Department, Bodoland Territorial Council, chief of BTC Hagrama Mohilary, Assam Social Welfare and Soil Conservation minister Pramila Rani Brahma, Additional chief secretary social welfare department Assam Jishnu Barua attended as guest and delivered their valueable speeches.

Minister Pramila Rani Brahma in her speech spoke on various government schemes for the benefit of senior and elderly citizens.
