Watch: Broad daylight burglary incident in Lanka under Hojai District

Unidentified miscreants looted around Rs 2.5 lakh from one identified as Dilip Paul near Canara Bank in Lanka today morning.

As per reports, Dilip Paul withdrawn an amount of Rs 2.5 lakh from United Bank of India near Shillong Road in Lanka Town and was about to deposit the same at Canara bank when he received a phone call.

While, he was talking over the phone, a gang of miscreants took away the cash Rs 2.5 lakh from the box of his two wheeler vehicle (scooter).

A case has been registered at Lanka Police Station.
