KMSS leader Akhil Gogoi arrested during protest against Citizenship Bill

RTI activist and Krishak Mukti Sangram Samittee (KMSS) leader Akhil Gogoi and other protesters were arrested while staging a protest near Kamrup (M) Deputy Commissioner's Office in Guwahati on Friday against the contentious Citizenship Amendment Bill.

Reacting to the incident, KMSS leaders said that peasant leader Akhil Gogoi was arrested in a most undemocratic manner.
