Mass protest against CAA to begin in Assam after board exams: AASU

The delegates of All Assam Students' Union (AASU) held a meeting on contentious Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 here at Vivekananda Kendra in Guwahati on Friday.

Also, an Executive Body meeting by the student's body regarding the contentious law was earlier held on Thursday at Gauhati University.

It is to be noted AASU GS Lurinjyoti Gogoi while addressing a public protest in Dhemaji last Sunday threatened to intensify stir against Citizenship Act soon after the board exams.
