Rhino attacks and injures a woman severely in Sonitpur

A woman was brutally attacked by a rhino at Goruduba village, Borsola constituency in Sonitpur District on Wednesday.

The injured lady identified as Indira Devi, is a resident of Goruduba village was immediately shifted to Tezpur Medical College Hospital (TMCH) for better treatment.

As per local people, the wild animal was strayed out from the Orang National Park in search of food.

Later, locals informed the Assam forest department about the rhino sighting.
