Watch | Cattle smuggler brutally beaten in Nagaon

Cattle smuggling inside the district of Nagaon has snowballed into a major challenge for the police department for the past couple of months. Recently, a cattle smuggler was brutally beaten by the people of Gamariati of Rangalur in Nagaon. He was later handed over to the police.

The alleged cattle smuggler was identified as Lukman Ali.

Ali also confessed to have links with gangs of cattle smugglers in the town.

Meanwhile, police has started an investigation into the matter.
