CRPF celebrates National Sports Day in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: 142 Bn. CRPF celebrated National Sports Day at Unit Head Quarter , Jonaki Nagar, Golaghat on Saturday with the slogan "KHELO INDIA" a movement to activate sports activities which are badly affected by the Covid Pandemic.

A Volley ball match was played on this occasion where teams participated with full enthusiasm and energy. Spectators too enjoyed the game and cheered their favourite team. The whole exercise was aimed to send the message to each and everyone that now we should start sports activities after taking all due precautions against Covid spread. in his speech on 29 August 2020, the National Sports Day is celebrated nation-wide to mark the birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand and raise awareness about staying fit and healthy.
