GUWAHATI: Saptarshi of Tinsukia entered into the semi final of the Assam Premier Club Cricket Championship from Group 'B' defeating Rangia Cricket Association by 29 runs at Dibrugarh today. In the other game at Tinsukia, North Nalbari Sports Club (Nalbari) won by 6 wickets against Rongmon club, Lakhimpur. It may be mentioned here that Bud Cricket Club of Guwahati also reached into the last four stage of the competition from group 'A'.

Brief scores: Dibrugarh-Saptarshi 125 (31.4 overs), Ajay Gohain 46, Neelabh Sarma 5-36, Rangia Cricket Association 96 (35 overs), Dweepjyoti Kalita 22, Sahnewaz Ahmed 21, Suvam Sharma 3-12, Dhruba Jyoti Das 3-26

Tinsukia: Rangmon 102 (31.3 overs), Debanuj Goswami 37, Majidul Islam 2-11, Sanjay Kr Thakur 2-14, North Nalbari Sports Club 103/4 (20.3 overs), Nihar Deka 37, Deep Nath 2-24.
