Parthiv, Chandogya win double crown

Guwahati: Parthiv Kalita and Chandogya T Pathak of Assam lifted double crown in the AITA Championship Series Tennis Tournament (U-12 and 14 categories) which concluded at the All Assam Tennis Complex in the city today. Chandogya defeated Abhay Bharali of Assam in the boys under 12 singles final 6-2, 6-0 and won the boys under 12 doubles trophy partnering with Abhay Bharali. In the boys under 14 singles final Parthiv Kalita of Assam trounced state mate Ritik Rout in straight sets 6-2, 6-1. In the doubles final Parthiv partnering with Ayan Bhuyan of Assam completed the double crown by defeating Ritik Rout and Agniv Bordoloi 6-0, 6-3.
