Kamrup Metro District Water and Sanitation Committee invites tender for the construction of Community Managed Sanitary Complex (CMSC)

Kamrup Metro District Water and Sanitation Committee invites expression of interest from NGOs/SHGs/Contractors to facilitate construction of "Community Managed Sanitary Complex (CMSC)" under Swachh Bharat Mission-Gramin (SBMG) in Kamrup Metro district of Assam.

Pre-qualification criteria:

1. The Contractors must be registered under PHE Guwahati Division No-I/SE (PHE) Guwahati Circle/ Addl. CE (PHE) LAZ, Bamunimaidan.
2. The NGOs must be registered under the Society Registration Act, 1860. Documentary proof needs to be submitted for the same.
3. The SHGs must be registered under National Rural Livelihood Mission or any State Govt Department as SHG. Documentary proof needs to be submitted for the same.
4. NGOs/SHGs/Contractors must have work experience in rural community based projects or any similar assignments for minimum 2 years.
5. Preference will be given to NGOs/SHGs/Contractors from the locality with adequate experience in Water & Sanitation sector.
6. The NGOs/SHGs/Contractors should be functioning for a minimum period of 2 years at least, in Kamrup Metro district or any other part of Assam.
7. The NGOs/SHGs/Contractors should have sufficient financial capability to execute the assigned works on urgent basis in any part of Kamrup Metro district. Basic financial records such as cash books, balance sheet, ledgers and audited financial statements from the last two years should be submitted for the evaluation.

For detailed scope, pre-qualification criteria, other terms and conditions and suggested formats, willing NGOs/SHGs/ Contractors may visit the office of the undersigned. The details will be issued on payment of Rs. 100.00 in the form of IPO/DD/ Cash in favour of Member Secretary, Kamrup Metro District Water and Sanitation Committee (KMDWSC) on all working days from 24-08-2020 up to 4 pm of 28-08-2020 from the office of the undersigned.

Interested NGOs/SHGs/Contractors who meet the prequalification criteria may furnish their Expression of Interest (EOI) with all necessary documents in a sealed cover along with a covering letter duly signed by an authorizing signatory on or before 01-09-2020 till 4 pm.

The final selection of the NGOs/SHGs/Contractors will be done on the basis of fulfilment of criteria decided by KMDWSC and mere empanelment of the NGOs/SHGs/Contractors as one of the implementing agencies of the SBM-G does not entitle to the NGOs/SHGs/Contractors to claim work.
