20 suspected Bangladeshis held under Bordumsa police station in Digboi

DIGBOI: Around 20 suspected Bangladeshis, including males, females and children, were held by Ritu Kathalguri residents under Bordumsa police station this morning and handed over to the police for verification and legal proceedings.

The group was taking food in an open paddy field in the Kathalguri area when they were caught by the local residents.

According to Bordumsa OC Ghanakanta Gogoi, the group members were working in KNP Brick Kiln at Bordumsa along the Arunachal Pradesh border. They were trying to proceed to the worksite stealthily.
