Congress to lose in ten seats for wrong nominees: Siddique

Guwahati, April 27: Senior Congress minister Siddique Ahmed today said that his party would lose around ten seats - like Barkhola, Dhubri, Goalpara East - due to wrong selection of candidate. "But we are still hopeful that we will cross the sixty mark. The UPP is with us," Ahmed said, adding that he is the process of filing a defamation case against Badruddin Ajmal for his defamatory utterances. He also alleged that the AIUDF and BJP had a secret understanding during the assembly elections.
