Defamation: Court orders arrest of Rajen Gohain

GUWAHATI, Dec 8: Hearing a defamation suit filed by minister Rockybul Hussain against gaon MP and senior BJP leader Rajen Gohain, the Kamrup CJM court on Tuesday asked the police to arrest Gohain and produce him before the court. The court order came as Gohain has repeatedly failed to appear before the court on several counts. The court has asked the police to produce Gohain on January 19, 2016. It may be mentioned that, Hussain has alleged that Gohain, while addressing a meeting in November, 2014 allegedly linked Hussain with Jinh and jehadi elements.
