Dr Birubala Rabha awarded

Kokrajhar, July 4: The 12th UN Brahma Soldier of Humanity Award was conferred to anti-witch-hunting crusader and social activist Dr. Birubala Rabha of Goalpara at a ceremonial programme held at Kokrajhar Commerce College Auditorium hall here in Kokrajhar. Organized by Upendra th Brahma Trust (UNBT), the award carries a prize of Rs 50,000, a memento, a bronze statue of Bodofa UN Brama and Bodo traditiol attires Dokh with Gwmgra. Chairman of UNBT Rwngwra rzary and ex-president of Bodo Sahitya Sabha Brajendra Kumar Brahma jointly gave away the award.
