Inquiry into 'atrocities' on media

GUWAHATI, February 9: The Assam Government has entrusted Additiol Chief Secretary Rajiv Kumar Bora to conduct the inquiry into the alleged atrocities on the media persons by some police personnel in front of the Latasil Police Station on  January 31, 2015.  Any individual/organization who intends to submit memorandum on the matter stated above may do so in the office chamber of Rajiv Kumar Bora, Assam Secretariat (Civil) Dispur, Block-A, 4th Floor within seven days from February 7, 2015.  The hearing on the matter shall take place on February 20, 2015 at the conference hall of Circuit House, Guwahati at 11 am, a press release said.
