Dibrugarh, August 31: Massive riverbank erosion has been reported at Bogoritolia in Rohmoria. Binod Kedia, chief advisor of the Flood Erosion Resistance Struggle Forum, Dibrugarh & Tinsukia districts, said an area of around 3,000 sq. metres has been washed away. Three families have been shifted from the area, while at least eleven are staring at a similar threat. Today, the Chabua circle officer and two SDOs of Water Resource department visited the area and assured to assistance to the victims.
