‘People Have Voted For Development’ Says Atul Bora

GUWAHATI: The electorates have voted to support the development agenda of the State Government. The massive turnout during the three phases of general elections in Assam has amply proved such mindset of the people, AGP president Atul Bora said while speaking to The Sentinel here on Thursday. Bora further said, “During the last three years, our alliance government has worked for the development of various sectors and gone to the extra mile to root out corruption. And the people have definitely supported us on both these crucial aspects of governance.”

Adding that the BJP-led alliance will leave no stone unturned to boost development, Atul Bora pointed out, “The State Budget 2019-20 passed by the Assembly has lot more schemes to be undertaken. The Government will now work to effectively execute these schemes. I am confident that many more people will be covered under all the government’s welfare schemes in the days to come. The government will focus on overall development of the State by not leaving any sector untouched.”
