Robert Vadra off no-frisking list at airports

New Delhi, Sept 16: The Central government on Wednesday removed the me of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra from the no-frisking list at airports across India.

Government sources told IANS that Vadra's me was removed from the no-frisking list of airports and he will have to get himself security-checked like any other passenger. Asserting that he was not a "VVIP or VIP", Vadra had asked the government to remove his me from the no-frisking list.

Meanwhile, the Congress has criticised the rendra Modi government for taking a "long time" in removing Vadra's me from the list.

"Why did they take such a long time in removing his me from the (no-frisking) list," said party spokesperson Tom Vadakkan. IANS
