Software Engineer joins rebel outfit ULFA-I, confirms on Facebook Video

Guwahati: At a time when there are reports of the youth of Assam joining the outlawed faction ULFA-I, another youth hailing from Moran in a Facebook viral video confirmed his joining the rebel militant outfit ULFA-I for the sake of the Assamese community and people.

The youth as identified from the Facebook profile Chow Abhijeet Gogoi in his 4 minute video said, “I, Abhijeet Gogoi, son of late Hari Chandra Gogoi. I am a resident of Moran under Dibrugarh District. In the year 2012, i passed my degree in Information and Technology from Chennai SRM University. I was also working at IT sector in a company called ‘Hitashree’ as a software engineer. Later, I also pursued my MBA from Bangalore Business School and Management. I also made officials visits and tours on several countries like Singapore, Malaysia and Australia in my official carrier,” adding, “My last working period was at SAP technology in Bangalore as Senior Software Engineer.”

Also, expressing his grievances over the present situation of the state, Abhijeet Gogoi added in the video, “I joined the militant organisation as I have left out with no more option, but to protect my Assamese Community through a revolutionary fight. Our community is on the verge of extinction and I personally feel that youths like us should come and join the faction in order to protect the community. Although there are several indigenous organisations in the state, we cannot take them into consideration as their sole aim is to become political leaders. Whom we should trust upon ?”

He further claimed that if we youth failed in the joining the revolutionary fight, then there is no one who would come out to join the fight for us...” we will get vanish one day” he stated.

He also compared the present scenario of the state with the country like the United States of America and further claimed that indigenous people are facing a threat of extinction.

It may be mentioned that for the few months several educated youths like Abhijeet Gogoi and Munna Baruah and many more have joined the revolutionary fight in order to protect the identity and Assamese community launched by the outlawed faction ULFA-I.
