Two jihadists arrested

Tezpur, May 25: Two jihadists were arrested by Indian Army on Wednesday morning from Parmaiguli village in Tezpur under Mahabhairob Police outpost. According to sources, following sufficient input army conducted an operation in the area and maged to apprehend the two jihadists who were later identified as Imran Hussain (32) and Mujammil Azan (35). However, after the apprehension of the two fundamentalists, Mujammil Azan tried killing himself by cutting his throat. He was immediately rushed to the Kaklata Civil Hospital in a critical condition. Though details are awaited regarding the entire incident, sources informed that the two accused are the mastermind of various unlawful activities, including the recent robbery case of popular singer Zublee Barua’s sound system.
