APCC General Secretary Ranjan Borah quits party

Organizational General Secretary of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) Ranjan Bora resigned from the party on Wednesday.

Addressing the media, the convener of the party's core committee Ranjan Bora, alleged that the party has provided tickets for the East Guwahati constituency by taking money from the candidates.

He alleged that the party has promised him a ticket several times but later they chose another person.

Talking about the 5 guarantees of Congress, he said that he was unaware of such guarantees.

He further alleged that there is no leadership in the party and that only lobby politics is going on and the candidates have been provided tickets in lobby politics.
