Body of Newly-wed Woman Found Under Mysterious Circumstances

It has just been six months that Khalida Begum got married to Mehbub Alam. Khalida's family was in for a big shock when they got to know about her death. On Sunday, April 25, Khalida was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her in-law's place. Khalida hails from Kathalbari village in Mankachar.

People alleged that her husband and his family have been abusing her since the wedding and they are responsible for her death. Neighbours are saying that she was murdered. The husband and his family members are absconding.

The Mankachar police team reached the spot and an investigation is going on. The body has been sent for postmortem.

Speaking to the media, police said, "People alleged that her death is a murder. But we can't say anything, we have to do an investigation on this matter. Her husband and family escaped from the house along with their valuables. We have sent the body for postmortem, an investigation is going on."
