WhatsApp, Meta's messaging app is in trouble again. In one of the biggest data breaches ever, phone numbers of nearly 500 million users have been leaked and are up for sale. According to a report by Cybernews, a cyber security portal the database is up for sale on a popular hacking forum containing private information of WhatsApp users from 84 countries. Includes users from India, France, US, UK, Egypt, Russia. As per Cybernews, when they contacted the seller he shared 1,097 UK-based numbers as proof. Thereafter, the publication investigated the numbers and confirmed that they were all from WhatsApp accounts. WhatsApp has so far denied reports
