A team of the Central Guwahati Police District on Sunday arrested a thief - Saiful Islam of Noonmati for stealing a bicycle and also arrested a receiver of stolen goods - Abbas Ali of South Sarania while one Bonomali Das of Lumding was also arrested after he was caught red-handed while trying to steal a wallet and a mobile phone at Pragjyotishpur on Sunday.
