’Special courts not Pakistan army’s desire’

Islamabad, January 2: Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Friday said on Twitter that special courts are not the desire of the army, rather the need of extraordiry times.

“Special courts not desire of the Army but need of extraordiry times. Will return to origil system when normalcy returns,” Director General of Inter–Services Public Relations, Asim Bajwa, tweeted the army chief’s statement.

The general stressed that the points agreed to at the All Parties Conference should be implemented. “Consensus reached during the first APC must endure and we need to make quantum decisions,” the statement on Twitter added.

“Our today’s (Friday) decisions will determine the destiny of our tion,then have to stay focused on their implementation.”  (IANS)
