7th conference of ABAA postponed

KOKRAJHAR, January 4: The 7th annual conference of All Bodo Artistes’ Association (ABAA), which was scheduled to be held on January 10 and January 11, has been postponed due to the prevailing situation in Kokrajhar and Chirang in lower Assam. The conference will now be held on February 7 and February 8. This was informed by the general secretary of ABAA, Dipak Ramchiary.

The venue and programme schedule will remain the same.  The venue of the conference is Goibari, Basugaon in Chirang district. The date for the conference was rescheduled at a meeting held in Kokrajhar on Sunday with ABAA president Bikash Basumatary (Laloo) in the chair.
