Four killed in accidents

GUWAHATI, January 5: Four people were killed in two separate road accidents in the city last night. Both the accidents were suspected to have been caused due to heavy fog. The first accident occurred on the VIP Road at Sachal where two motorcyclists were killed when they were hit by a truck. The two have been identified as Pranta Gogoi and Sagar Lahan. In a similar way, a couple – Bipul Das and Neelakshi Devi – were killed when the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a truck at Nine Mile in the city. It may be mentioned that three people died in a similar fashion at Khetri on the outskirts of Guwahati recently, due to fog.
