Association demands job regularization

Itagar, January 7: The All Aruchal Pradesh Contractual Employee Association Department of Health & Family Welfare (AAPCEADHFW) has cautioned of democratic movement, if the state government fails to regularize 1857 posts within 7 days.

The state government on September 30 last approved creation of 1857 group A,B,C, and MTS posts against 2492 post in first phase under department of Health and Family Welfare, informed president AAPCEADHFW, Kipa Togung while talking to reporters here.

So far no one has been regularized, he added.

All Aruchal Contractual Staff Nurse Association general secretary ni do said that earlier they have tried to approach the state government under individual associations but owing to lack of response from the state government they have come under AAPCEADHFW to demand jointly.

do informed that all contractual nurses of every district will launch democratic protest in full uniform and will not attend their respective duties till their demands are met.

tiol Vector Borne Disease Control Programme’s Multi Purpose Worker Association general secretary Likha Olley lamented that state cabinet earlier approved the posts but now says that there is no money to pay their salaries. AAPCEADHFW informed that there are total 882 health institutions in the state for which 11463 staffs are required. But only 3839 including 560 contractual staffs of NHM and different vertical programmes are working and that there is shortfall of 7624 staffs.
