Guwahati: Guwahati boy Ishaan Hussain has become one of the youngest in the State to beat COVID-19. The story of his triumph amid the pandemic has emerged as a ray of hope for many warriors who are fighting the dreaded virus.

His mother, Moni Begum, has also overcome the virus and raised the hopes of many in the city as well as State. Little Ishaan and his mother were sheltered at the Khanapara COVID Care Center and after their recovery and subsequent release, the duo has become the stars of the day.

"Khanapara Covid Care Center Ishaan Hussain, you are indeed a Military Champ! Superstar of the day, only two years, little Ishan, and his mother Moni Begum finally defeated covid and ready to go home,", the Assam Covid Care Centers shared on their official Twitter handle, hailing the mothers-son duo. The duo can be seen out all fit and fine after they were discharged from the Khanapara COVID Care Center in Guwahati.

Interestingly, little Ishaan can be seen sporting a stylish t-shirt that says 'Military Champ', which perfectly symbolizes his triumph over the adversity of the Wuhan-originating virus.
