Air Marshal SP Dharkar visits Borjhar Air Force Station

GUWAHATI: Air Marshal SP Dharkar, Air Officer Commanding-in Chief, Eastern Air Command, arrived at Air Force Station Borjhar, Guwahati, Assam on Monday for a two-day familiarization visit.

He was received by Air Commodore Atul Saggar, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Borjhar. This being a familiarization visit, the Air Marshal was briefed on the operational, maintenance and administrative preparedness of the Station. He also visited various units and sections of the Station and interacted with the personnel of the Station. In his address, he impressed upon all personnel the importance of being conversant with their roles in operations and being confident in operating aircraft and systems. He reviewed the Station's operational preparedness and appreciated the personnel for the good work undertaken by them at this base, stated a press release.
