East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) arrested 3 drug peddlers

GUWAHATI: A team of the East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) from the Basistha Police Station arrested three drug peddlers - Biki Sonar of West Kameng, Sanja Kumar Sah of Beharbari and Dipankar Bhuyan of Nalbari - after a surprise check led to the recovery of 3.12 gm of heroin and eight vials from their possession.

Police sources said that an e-rickshaw (AS01-ER-1630) and two mobile phones were also seized in this connection.
