Foundation laid for 3 projects in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: As a part of utilization of funds from the 15th Central Financial Commission of the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC), a sum of Rs 10 lakh has been allotted towards the development of the Dr Bhupen Hazarika Path, Rs 9 lakh towards the development of the drainage on the Garigaon Gaonburhapara Path and Rs 13 lakh for development of the boundary wall of the Garigaon Eidgah Maidan.

GMC mayor Mrigen Saraniya laid the foundation stones for these projects in Ward no. 1. Several local people, including the elected members of the ward, were present.
