Sales of cars lifted from Guwahati in Nagaland, one arrested

GUWAHATI: Based on a tip-off, Pragjyotishpur police arrested one miscreant who stole a vehicle bearing registration AS 01 PC 7170 from Chandrapur area and was about to sell it in Nagaland. The person is identified as Anwar Hussain of Sonapur.

According to sources, a CCTV camera in a nearby shop captured a group of three members stealing the vehicle.

According to the FIR lodged by the owner of the vehicle, the Pragjyotishpur police arrested the miscreant on Friday. And the police team headed to Nagaland in search of the vehicle on Saturday.
