The West Bengal Medical Services Corporation (WBMSC) has been formed to ensure:

1.Efficient procurement and supply of quality drugs and medicines in time to all hospitals.

2.Efficient procurement of equipments and regular maintenance of the same including supply of chemicals and reagents etc to all hospitals and Medical colleges.

3.Construction and maintenance of the health facilities.

Based on the mandate of WBMSC the Organizational set up of WBMSC has two distinct wings the Procurement Wing and the Engineering Wing

The Corporation is housed in the premises of Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal at GN- 29, Swathya Bhawan, Sector V, Salt Lake, Kolkata in the First Floor of Institute of Family Welfare Building.
