Amar Bani launches 'Ejupa Gos' campaign

Gohpur, Sept 10: ture preservation organization Amar Bani started the campaign ‘Ejupa Gos’ at Srimanta Shankardev Kalakshetra on Friday.  On the occasion of the 91st birth anniversary of Sudhakanto Dr Bhupen Hazarika, Amar Bani Gos Bihu initiator Bakul Gogoi launched the ‘Ejupa Gos’ campaign. Popular singer of Assam, Krish Moni Chutia and many other dignitaries took part in the iugural ceremony.

Krish Moni Chutia urged people to plant tree saplings on birthdays or memorable occasions. It was his birthday that day and he planted Bhupendra Bikhyo (White Sandal) at the Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Study Centre and Children Park of Kalakshetra. To spread awareness regarding tree plantation and environment preservation among people, Amar Bani launched a website www.aamarbonee.org
