MARGHERITA, July 16: Noted Leftist writer and thinker of Margherita, Comrade Bikash Dasgupta has condemned and criticized the Assam Government’s alleged atrocity during the Raha incident where a protester Mintu Deori died in police firing while protesting against the government’s move to set up the AIIMS at Changsari instead of Raha. Comrade Bikash Dasgupta said that the State always killed people who raised their voices for their rights.  “By declaring Rs 5 lakh compensation is not enough for the next of the kin.
