Fish made available for uruka

DIBRUGARH, January 13: The Fishery Department in the district has made arrangements to make fish available at fair price on the occasion of uruka of Magh Bihu on Wednesday. Accordingly, customers can buy fish from either the department’s office at Sukanpukhuri, or in front of DC’s office and at liapool. A DIPR statement informed that rohu, bahu and mirika fish will be available at Rs 120 per kg, Rs 150 for one to one–and–a half kilograms, Rs 200 for 1.5 to 2.5 kg and Rs 230 for 2.kg and above. Silver carp or common carp and grass carp will cost between Rs 150 to Rs 180 rupees.
