Guwahati FC loss opening tie

GUWAHATI, Nov 14: Guwahati FC lost their opening game in the Second Division I league against Mohammedan Sporting at Barasat stadium  today. The Kolkata outfit won the tie by 2-1. Mohammedan Sporting scored both the goals in the first half through Taurush and Ajoy Singh in a gap of two minutes. Taurash put the home team ahead in the 41st minutes with a nice header capitalizing a good cross from Bisweswar. Ajoy sing increased the margin in the 43rd minutes. Guwahati FC, who put a lot of pressure on Mohammedan in the second half,  filly maged to return one goal through Adeleza. Adeleza was fouled by Kareem and referee awarded pelty to visiting teams. Adeleza converted the spot kick to reduce the margin.
