IAF to conduct recruitment rally

Itagar, September 20: The Indian Air Force is going to conduct a recruitment rally at Dera tung Government College, Itagar exclusively for eligible unmarried male candidates of the state to join as Airmen in Group X (technical) and Group Y (non-technical) trades.

The rally is scheduled to be held from September 26 to 28 next, an official press release informed.

The candidates have to initially take a written test and adaptability test at the time of application while those passing the written and adaptability test will undergo a physical fitness test followed by interview after which they have to appear for medical examition at the Air Force medical examition centre.

In Aruchal Pradesh, the Centre has already conducted four rallies since 2010 and a total of 222 candidates have been enrolled so far out of the total 1458 appeared.

The duty of Airmen in the Indian Air Force is to make sure that all the air and ground operations run smoothly.  From operation Air Defence Systems (ADS) to fitting missiles, they are involved in all activities of an air base and give support to various technical and non- technical posts. Capital complex DC Mige Kamki has appealed all the interested candidates who have passed class XII to participate and take maximum advantage of the recruitment so that the eligible candidates can be employed in the IAF.
