One killed in road mishap - 17 Apr, 2017

SHILLONG, April 16: One person lost his life in an accident which occurred on the morning of April 14, between an Alto 800 and a Maruti car. According to Police, an Alto 800 driven by Meialamki Shylla (20) resident of Umsalait was coming from opposite direction and in wrong side of the road, dashed against a Maruti car.  In this connection, both the vehicles were badly damaged and all occupants of both the vehicles were injured and rushed to Ialong Civil hospital before the arrival of the police. Later one occupant of Maruti car Early Langstang (28) of Pammanik village succumbed to his injuries at Ialong Civil hospital. Further two injured person mely Klostar Talang (27) and Ebormi Suchiang (25) were referred to Shillong for better treatment. The driver of the Maruti car Klostar Talang along with six occupant from Pammanik Kyndong Tuber were coming from Dawki and proceeding toward Pammanik village.
