ITAGAR, Feb 3: Aruchal Pradesh Governor Jyoti Prashad Rajkhowa has termited the services of state Advocate General Ranji Thomas and Additiol Advocate General R H bam.

In exercising of power conferred to him under Article 165(3) of the Constitution of India, the Governor withdrew his pleasure with respect to appointment of Ranji Thomas as Advocate General of the state on February 1 last, a Raj Bhawan communiqué informed here today.

Rajkhowa also withdrew his pleasure with respect to appointment of R H bam as Additiol Advocate General of the state.

Meanwhile, in order to streamline and ratiolize developmental funds of the state government, the governor convened a review meeting at Raj Bhavan yesterday.

The meeting was attended by GS Patik, Advisor, Principal Secretary Fince Satya Gopal, Secretary Planning Som Chombay, PCCF (Wildlife & Biodiversity) Dr Rabindra Kumar, Secretary to Governor Dr Joram Beda and deputy director of department of Tirap Changlang and Longding (DoTCL) Wangton Lowang.

The governor reviewed the guiding principle and course of action for Thirteen Fince Commission (TFC) grants for forestry related activities and DoTCL grant.

He insisted that the State Infrastructure Development Fund (SIDF) projects would be reviewed and filized by a Committee under the Chairmanship of Advisor Patik.

 “Fund wouldl be distributed ratiolly as per population, backwardness and special needs of the area,” Rajkhowa said.

The governor also expressed surprise that previous plan for SIDP fund distribution as per planning department had excluded Anjaw, msai, Changlang, Longding and Kra Daadi districts.

The TFC grant also came up for discussion. The governor has directed that approved plan which was already approved previously by last High Level Monitoring Committee (HLMC) should be implemented and no arbitrary changes should be made on the project priority list.

The Governor has reviewed the numbers of projects and instructed that funds should be equitably distributed to all assembly constituencies, the communiqué added.
