Tech-savvy team to filize BJP's campaign strategy

Agartala, Oct 11: The Bharatiya Jata Party is fielding its most elite IT team to mage party’s poll campaign in the State.

The Assembly polls in Tripura is expected to be held in February next.

As a prelude for the massive campaign, the party is going to organize a workshop in Town Hall here on October 16 where over 500 IT trained party workers from across the State will participate.

Ram Madhav, general secretary of the BJP will lead a team of elite persolities including the head of the party’s Information Technology division Amit Malavya and election alyst Rajat Shetty. Assam Fince Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma and some other dignitaries are also likely to attend the workshop. 

The team will train the party workers about how to best use the social media and other mode of campaign. The party achieved good result in all the state assembly elections since last Lok Sabha election and these IT professiols and poll alysts played a vital role. ‘So the party has decided to utilize their services in Tripura too’, said Biplab Deb, state president of the BJP to the reporters.

The party is paying importance in Tripura election as it is for the first time BJP is facing the Marxists directly. The party has undertaken a massive booth level mass contact program and collected information about peoples’ mood on various issues.

It is learnt that a team of experts are alyzing the inputs came from grassroot workers and on the basis of these party will filize its strategy for the election.
