Itagar, Nov 10: More than 13 km of the concrete cement (CC) pavement roads have already been completed in the capital complex as work is currently on at various other places. An official statement today informed that construction for 22.76 km of CC pavement roads were sanctioned this fiscal year out of which 13.35 km have been completed. While expansion of the roads in the capital are underway, simultaneous construction of ring roads starting from the tempo stand to Ganga market via Raj Bhawan, circuit house and ESS sector are also on. Additiolly, a second route from Zero Point to RK Mission via the Panchali, BSI, Senki Park area is also underway.
The public works department’s capital circle superintendent engineer T Kamchi informed that construction of sub-roads and sector roads would also begin soon. Additiolly, the three-km stretch at Bage Tili-Doimukh road has also been completed. Meanwhile, chief minister bam Tuki today gave the green light for construction of a kilometre long four-lane CC road from Lagun bridge to the helipad area at harlagun to serve as a model road.
