BANDERDEWA: The orientation programme of master trainers for students of the 'Solar Ambassador' workshop and sensitization of students on climate change and use of solar energy conducted on Sunday. Itanagar Science centre curator Dr. Vivek Kumar inform that around 100 students and master trainers get hands on assembling of solar lamp kit today.
The other activities conducted are ideation and demonstration of robotics and artificial intelligence.
The training is the part of Gandhi global solar yatra to be organised on October 2, 2019, to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
The programme is organised in the context to climate change non violence to environment and use solar energy to achieve energy self sufficiency.
The orientation programme Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Science and Technology, Department of Science and Technology under the guidance of Director CD Munyak. which began from August 31 shall continue till September 30. The programme has already covered around 22 schools of the Capital Complex till date, Dr Vivek added.
He further informed that there are five teams of Resource Persons of the department who are imparting training in various schools and to the students and teachers as well.
