Artists Lineup Revealed for Falcon Festival 2022

HAFLONG: The popular Falcon Festival of Dima Hasao is scheduled for the next week. And the list of artists performing at this festival has now been released.

The 8th Edition of the popular Falcon Festival will be hosted on the Golf Course Ground of Umrangso from December 15 to December 17. The event aims to showcase the traditions and cultures of the region to all the visiting guests. It is also an excellent opportunity to try out local cuisines, both food and beverages, of the region.

Apart from the local cultural presentation, some of the most popular artists of the Hindi Film industry will be performing in this three-day affair. Some of them are Tulsi Kumar, Arman Mallik and Badshah. In addition to them, Assam's most popular singer in the current times, Zubeen Garg will also perform at this event. Julia's Bliss Dj and several other artists from the state will also be performing at the Falcon Festival this year.

"I warmly welcome to all of you and enjoy the festival on this grand celebration of Falcon Festival 2022 and make it a grand success," mentioned Debolal Gorlosa. He is the Chief Executive Member of the Dima Hasao Autonomous Council.

Proper arrangements have been made by the local administration for the smooth conduct of the celebration. Arrangements regarding traffic and crowd management and parking of vehicles have also been taken care of. Roads and public convenience have also been revamped ahead of the event.

As for the accommodations, arrangements have been made by several organisations for tented accommodations near the festival grounds. Post the conclusion of the main events every day, afterparties and campfires are on the cards at these campsites. Tourists can also explore the natural beauty of this region while taking part in this event. A local art and crafts exhibition and sale will also be a part of the event.
