Tezpur: The Dekargaon-Dibrugarh Intercity Special Express was flagged off from Dekargaon Railway Station on Monday. The new Intercity express was flagged off by Santosh Kumar Sarmah, ADRM, Rangia Division of NFR. Official sources said a total of 214 passengers boarded the new train in its first journey.
The Dekargaon- Dibrugarh Intercity Special Train is scheduled to pass through the Bogibeel Bridge. The Intercity train is scheduled to run for five days a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The train consists of 11 coaches- General Second class (4 coaches), Second Class day Coach with sitting accommodation (5 coaches) and SLR (2 coaches).
