Illegal saw mill, timber seized at Choto Barjana village in Bongaigaon

BONGAIGAON: An illegal improvised portable band saw mill and timber were seized at Choto Barjana village under Abhayapuri of Bongaigaon district on Saturday. No person could be arrested in this regard. The seized saw mill and timber were taken into departmental custody. A forest department source said that cost of the seized wood would be more than Rs 50,000. "The FIR will be lodged after investigation," the source said.
