One drowns in Mitong River in Sivasagar district

GAURISAGAR: Bablu Robi Das (28), son of Guno Robi Das of Gaurisagar Mitong par under Gaurisagar police station in Sivasagar district, fell into the Mitong River from the old Mitong bridge on Wednesday. Gaurisagar police, led by officer in-charge Satyajit Borthakur, rushed to the spot and took stock of the situation. He informed SDRF, Sivasagar immediately. The jawans of SDRF searched but failed to recover the body.
