Paddy procurement center set up in Lakhimpur

In view of the benefits of the farmers’ community, a paddy procurement center has been set up at Bongalmora, near Bongalmora Police Outpost in Lakhimpur.

LAKHIMPUR: In view of the benefits of the farmers' community, a paddy procurement center has been set up at Bongalmora, near Bongalmora Police Outpost in Lakhimpur. The paddy procurement center will be open for all for the procurement of the same until September 25, stated a press release issued by Sumit Sattawan, the Deputy Commissioner of Lakhimpur.

The intending farmers of the district can approach the center with the samples of their paddy from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm everyday until September 25. If the samples are approved in the process, the farmers can sell their produce at the rate of Rs. 1868 per quintal only. In this connection, the farmers can contact two Field Officers of NACOF, namely Vikash Choubey and Dinesh Nath. The two officers will be stationed at the paddy procurement center until September 25.
