In the Sub-Junior Sanda (Fighting) category Dibrugarh won the 1st place with 6 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals. Sivasagar bagged the second position with 4 gold, 3 silver and 10 bronze medals.

GUWAHATI: The 20th Sub-Junior and Junior (Boys and Girls) All Assam Inter District Wushu Championship concluded at Golaghat on Tuesday. Altogether 860 athletes along with officials from 28 affiliated districts participated in the championship.

In the Sub-Junior Sanda (Fighting) category Dibrugarh won the 1st place with 6 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals. Sivasagar bagged the second position with 4 gold, 3 silver and 10 bronze medals. Golaghat (4 gold, 3 silver and 5 bronze medals) won the 3rd place. In the Sub-Junior Taolu (Routine) category Sonitpur won the first place with 8 gold, 6 silver and 4 bronze medals. Kamrup (M) collected 2nd spot with 7 gold , 4 silver and 2 bronze medals. Kokrajhar bagged third place with 6 gold , 4 silver and 3 bronze medals.

In the Junior Sanda (Fighting) category Lakhimpur won the first place with 5 gold and 1 bronze medals. Golaghat (4 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze medals) won the second spot. Charaideo (3 gold and 3 bronze medals) finished third.

Sonitpur clinched the top spot with 10 gold, 4 silver and 2 Bronze medals in the Junior Taolu (Routine) category. Karuk (M) with 7 gold, 6 silver and 5 bronze medals finished second and (4 gold, 6 silver and 2 bronze medals) bagged the third spot.
